Sunbathing with the dog!

March 31st...Ethan insisted to sit outside like this for a short time today! He asked last week for me to get his alligator pool out! I can't keep this child indoors anymore and I am struggling with how to switch gears to taking everyday chores outside!

March 31st...hoping that dirty feet season is here to stay!

Sparty On!

Grant can spot him anywhere! Football never leaves his mind!

Go Green!

Come on Papa, you know you want to say it...Go Green! We took Ethan to the Final 4 pep ralley with all the crazy college students and of course had to call Papa along the way since his love is with the other school!

Instant love from half-way around the world!

As long as I can remember, my middle sister has always been called "little love" and I now believe that this title belongs to Sara (her daughter). It took sometime for her to warm-up to her Aunt Fruitie (Theo named me). The first posted picture was me inching my way within her comfort zone and other pictures immediatly after. It only took two hours of knowing each other and ofcourse Aunt Fruitie being silly! I got to hug and kiss on this little porkshop! You can see she would gut laugh and then look for more! Upon leaving (after hugs and tears), I went to Theo to give him one last high 5 and when I went to walk away, Sara reached out for me like to saying "Hey Aunt Fruitie, don't forget about me!" Sara knows very few words in English, but I say was really studying my lips when already brain washing her to say "Aunt Fruitie"...I was almost successful! It can already recognize that Sara is a delightfully beautifully-spirited child!

Uncle "A" Bruce

Uncle "A" Bruce...Chinook is loving your coat! Thanks for taking care of my husbands clothing issues this past weekend, as he had so much to pack and get together for us to come over your way! Grant, your qualities make me so frustrated at times and a good gut laugh at other times!

Lifeguard Shisha

Grandma Shisha swimming with her 5 Grandchildren!

Wrestling vs. Napping

Boys will be boys....

Papa's will be papa's...

These activities were taking place simultaneously on the side by side beds.

Muscles

This is my nephew. His muscles scare me!

Cousins

Picking on Papa!

Papa loves every minute of it!

Baking

Ethan and Theo had licked every sugary inch of the counter top, bowls, spoons and fingers. These are frogs (reminder a 5 year old made them) since Theo is "toadally excited about being a big brother. These will travel back with us to CO so he can hand them out to his friends.

Backwards backyard fun!

These boys played hard outside for many hours without coats! Both Theo and Ethan had a thing going that day to wear their clothes backwards! There is now a nice hole in our backyard...added feature for the future buyer of our house!

Papertowels

4 rolls of new papertowels...45 minutes of fun! Theo went with Uncle Grant to experience a track practice today and later that evening the papertowels turned into hurdles. Theo (the CO kid) then taught Ethan to snowboard on them!

Nature walk!

Ethan and Theo went to a nature program and absorbed everything that was being taught! They were both right up in front the whole time. Grant is always so proud when Ethan talks "nature" with him. I will let Grant continue to talk "nature" with him...especially in about 13 years!

Past bedtime fun with cousin Theo from Colorado!

Ethan was excited to see his cousin and received the bonus of staying up late since there is a 2 hour difference from Colorado and Theo was trapped in an airplane all day!

This ones for you Aunt Sherri!

The bike finally made it outside! Decision was made by Ethan! Ethan has been riding this bike in our house (a true lifesaver for our physically active child) since receiving at age 1. I ran upstairs to come down to Ethan on our back deck on a beautiful sunny morning! The glasses he's wearing are safety glasses as he thinks he is a speed-skater (one of his favorite events in the Olympics!)

Fun with Friends in Clare, MI for St. Pat's Day!

Buddies! (They are only 5 months apart. Ethan is a giant and is officially into 5T clothes...he's 3!)

Sleepy Buddies!

Fun daytime activities with the Gallagher Boys!

A well overdue night out with friends! (Babysitter was left with 4 boys...oh boy!) The last stop of the evening was an awesome bakery owned by 10 cops called "COPS and DONUTS". Yum!

Too sweet not to share

Although Ethan plays rough and tough, he truly enjoys his cuddle time. Daddy's cuddle looks like this. Mommy's cuddle would be Ethan and I cheek to cheek. He likes to rub his cheek on mine...cat like behaviors!

Apparently someone is sick and tired of winter....

It is March 6th and where is this childs parents. I ran into the garage for seconds and this is what I came back outdoors too. Ethan's coat, hat and boots were all in a pile on our back patio.

This is "Dee"!

Ethan received this plant at a museum event. He immediately formed attachments to it and began to cry as when we left the building the wind caught it and it flew away...mom was his hero and rescued it. He was the one to name it and since bringing it home he has added the frog looking through the magnifying glass. It is his ritual every morning to water this plant during breakfast.

Bath time!

While reorganizing some areas in our home in preparation to sell it, Ethan found his baby bathtub!

Our naturalist!

We went to a 3-5year old nature program that included a hike. Ethan is the one with the buffalo hat on from Yellowstone and if you could hear through this picture you would hear Ethan commentating the whole walk. Grant was having one of his proud father moments! I predict nice shopping trips in the future for me while the boys are out in nature!

Grants preferred wipe stance...

Hands against the wall, legs spread.

This one's for you SHISHA!

Your hunka hunka burning love!

Fun in the snow...

A man, a dog and his son (with his had to have ORANGE sled)...what more could you ask!
