March 31st...Ethan insisted to sit outside like this for a short time today! He asked last week for me to get his alligator pool out! I can't keep this child indoors anymore and I am struggling with how to switch gears to taking everyday chores outside!

Instant love from half-way around the world!
As long as I can remember, my middle sister has always been called "little love" and I now believe that this title belongs to Sara (her daughter). It took sometime for her to warm-up to her Aunt Fruitie (Theo named me). The first posted picture was me inching my way within her comfort zone and other pictures immediatly after. It only took two hours of knowing each other and ofcourse Aunt Fruitie being silly! I got to hug and kiss on this little porkshop! You can see she would gut laugh and then look for more! Upon leaving (after hugs and tears), I went to Theo to give him one last high 5 and when I went to walk away, Sara reached out for me like to saying "Hey Aunt Fruitie, don't forget about me!" Sara knows very few words in English, but I say was really studying my lips when already brain washing her to say "Aunt Fruitie"...I was almost successful! It can already recognize that Sara is a delightfully beautifully-spirited child!

This ones for you Aunt Sherri!
The bike finally made it outside! Decision was made by Ethan! Ethan has been riding this bike in our house (a true lifesaver for our physically active child) since receiving at age 1. I ran upstairs to come down to Ethan on our back deck on a beautiful sunny morning! The glasses he's wearing are safety glasses as he thinks he is a speed-skater (one of his favorite events in the Olympics!)
Fun with Friends in Clare, MI for St. Pat's Day!

Too sweet not to share
Apparently someone is sick and tired of winter....

This is "Dee"!
Ethan received this plant at a museum event. He immediately formed attachments to it and began to cry as when we left the building the wind caught it and it flew away...mom was his hero and rescued it. He was the one to name it and since bringing it home he has added the frog looking through the magnifying glass. It is his ritual every morning to water this plant during breakfast.
Our naturalist!
We went to a 3-5year old nature program that included a hike. Ethan is the one with the buffalo hat on from Yellowstone and if you could hear through this picture you would hear Ethan commentating the whole walk. Grant was having one of his proud father moments! I predict nice shopping trips in the future for me while the boys are out in nature!
