4mths on the 4th!

Thanks for my festive 4th of July outfit Aunt Sherri!
Garrett is a very smiley baby!

Garrett has recently found his voice and is talking in this picture!
Garrett is a drooling fool that loves his thumb! Also notice that the interest in the stickers has begun! I am sure as the year goes on the stickers will be in very unique places!

Summer Fun!

Oh dear! Life is rough!
Summer time relaxing!

The stance +the boxer underwear +  the boats = Enthusiatic flower waterer!
Still deciding which painting outfit makes be laugh more! Boots or black socks!

Backyard Fun in Freeland!

Shisha states that she thinks that she has held Garrett more then all of her Grandchildren put together!

Catherine attempting a baby pedicure!
Holding one little toe!

Vacation Bible School!

Vacation Bible School brought tons of fun! The theme was PandaMania so of course Garrett had to join in on the fun as Baby Tarzan! I have learned to take advantage of this time as Ethan wanted nothing to do with dressing up!
Ok, so I got him to wear an orange shirt on "wear orange day"! That was really difficult since orange is his favorite color!
Outragous outfit day! Ethan picked out his what he thought was "normal" looking!

Fun in Freeland!

You know when your child returns from their Grandparents with a shirt that looks like this (use to be white) and every pair of his underwear had skid marks in them, he had a damn good time!

Cousins!

I recently saw this post on MY cousins facebook (thank you Scott) and thought it was fitting for this picture!

Cousins are the first friends most people ever have as children, outside of siblings. No one will ever understand your CRAZY family like your cousins!!!!!

Father's Day!

This picture is priceless as Ethan shows Grant what he got his Daddy for Father's Day! That's right a shirt for Ethan! Ok, so it does state "I get my muscles from my Daddy!"

And along with the shirt "Grant" got he received a pictures for his desk at school of him and Ethan flexing their muscles!

Who needs Fisher Price!

While Grant cut the whole lawn, Ethan played with a stick the entire time! I also love the "safety first" this child is showing...the ears, the eyes, and feet are all protected!

Mr. Happy!

Garrett is always so smiley!

Are they related?

Back of the heads are looking the same in the hair department for Papa and Garrett!

Progress of House..it won't be long until move in!

10 Year Anniversary!

On June 9th, Grant and I celebrated our 10 year Anniversary and instead of going out to eat, we (ok I -AmySue) decided to do a road rally! Grant was incharge of identifying things that were significant in our marriage the first five years and then I was incharge of the next five.  The number of the year was written on our wedding invites that have been stored in a box all these years!  Where you were at our wedding or have come into our life since then, we thank you for being apart of our life journey and supporting us to strengthen our marriage along the way!
Love this picture! We rarely get a good one of the two of us!
Year 1: Spent lots of time and money at the Home Depot on our new home!
Year 2: Spent looks of time and money shopping for furniture to furnish our new home!
Oh wait - Grant got mixed up! This was actually year 2: We got a dog!
So back to the furniture store to mark the memory of year 3.
Year 4: Grant could not think of what happened within the year! Imagine when we celebrate 50 years!

Year 5: We took a trip to Mexico - landing in Cancun!
Year 6: We had Ethan! So we picked Ethan up from Grandma B's to join us on our road rally and left Garrett behind. Ethan was all about this stating "what's my next surprise!"
Year 7: We spent alot of time in the outdoors this year, camping and hiking!
Year 8: We went to Yellowstone National Park! This was the best I could do to find buffalo in the Greater Lansing Area!
Year 9: We had Garrett!
And Year 10 will bring us into our newly built home!

Dessert on the floor of our new home (construction dust included)!

Nap buddies!

If the dog can't go in my bed, then I will just join her!

Kickin' back and relaxin'!
