August 2011

Garrett turns 6 mths old and is getting ready to crawl! He is always smiling!

Location of sticker was creatively placed by Big Brother's Ethan!

Baby Big Blue Eyes!

Hmmmm...what's this....
Lets taste it!

Thank you Andersons for Garrett's Spartan outfit! It looks like his right hand is saying "I love you!" Ethan and I will be breaking him in soon to the MSU marching band rehearsals! Go Green Go White!
We have a thumb sucker on our hands!

A friend of mine, who has a son 2 days older then Garrett, gave this shirt to Garrett when he was born and it makes me giggle! Mysterio predicts that he will be a Conspiracy Nut!
And so football for Ethan begins...
We had to practice with some of my craft ribbons prior to his first practice as Ethan was determined that he was going to tackle like "the big holt rams!" Ethan giggled and giggled when he saw me in action. I was not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not.

Our friend is the head coach, however he has asked Grant to against. Ethan states "I love Daddy coaching me!"

Determination...
Ethan is having to borrow a pair of shoes from his friend until I can get to the store to purchase him a pair as I have no idea were his shoes are from the move. Ethan is convinced that his shoes make him "so fast" because they have ties on them and not velcro like his other shoes. Ethan asked me why they are called snickers. I didn't even know he knew that word.

Mr. long legs in action!
The look of not the camera again...

Garrett's beginning to crawl, so this is our attempt to save his knees from our wooden floors!

First time discovering the dog!

We went to a bbq party and this was my attempt to play along with the bbq theme..thank goodness for the 4 year old in my life as he made me feel so much better about my attempt as Grant looked at them and stated "what in the world are these?" While Ethan looked at them after Grant and stated "hot dogs cooking, cool momma!"

Hey all the ladies in the neighborhood...come join me, Mr. Studmuffin, on my cool new front porch!
Chick Magnet!
Ethan is loving his new job of getting the mail. He could not do this at our old home due to living on the busy road. He is always so proud and counts out each piece of mail for us.

Drooling season has begun!

"Papa David can fit anything!" Ethan loves to work right along side of his Papa when a project is taking place. Thank you Papa and Shisha for the awesome new nightstand!

Normally, I would not let my children wear such hidious clothes, but Ethan insisted that this was his  "getting the mail outfit!"  Where does he get this stuff?
Ethan's new nightstand from Papa and Shisha holds two of his favorite things. Here you see his flashlight (from Papa of course) proudly displayed and his book about Daddies that includes a part about "Daddies are for fixing things, but sometimes Daddies can't fix everything" and Ethan always addes, "then you call Papa!"

Come on, I dare you to try this...we all know Grandma Louise can still do this!

Long beautiful eyelashes!

More drool!

I can just drool over this hunka-hunka cowboy myself!

Shoveling in the winter, shoveling in the summer. We have had lots of erosion with the rain washing our yard out into the cul-da-sac.

Aunt Sherri, I am getting ready to take over the bike you gave Ethan!

Hat Brothers!

Big Brother Ethan making his younger brother look stylish!

First bath together! The excitement that Ethan had could not be captured in these photos! He truly loves his Brother!

Loves him so much that he picks on him to be Santa Claus!

Garrett waking up crazy happy one morning!
