Garrett is a cuddler and Daddy never passes up the opportunity!
First time eating included two bowls (double the starting amount recommendation) and the spoon getting quickly grabbed from Momma's hand!
My creative Ethan with copacabanana!!!!
Ethan learning how to tie shoes! He worked on the left shoes for a good 5 minutes and it took me more time to get it undone! And then I wonder were my days go to....
Wrestling is now becoming a daily routine!
Wrestling stare down!
And get that Big Brother!
We have close family friends (the Jacob boys) who are now all adults and they feel that they remain close now because they wrestled daily. I am going to go with the same philosophy!
Always happy!
Loving his eyes!
Second round of eating included stealing the spoon and the bowl! And Momma forgot to put the bib on!
This is our new view and I really hate to admit it, but the whole outdoor deer thing is really growing on me!
Picture by AmySue! I like to shot things in other ways. But as for my husband....he still needs to fill our freezer!
Who needs Fisher Price when you can sit in your treestand and look at the deer for 30+ minutes! And of course I had to put camo on him!
My first treestand!
Ethan's treestand and this just happens to be from our master bathroom! Apparently this is not normal for deer and turkey to be in the area, but nothing is normal on the property of the Melvilles!
Grant placed a pop-up blind in our back woods and took Ethan out for the first time to just hang out. Both Daddy and Ethan were excited! They spent at least 90 minutes out there!
Daddy and Son!
Our first fire!
Papa had laughed and smiled the whole game as clearly understanding and loving the game of football himself and then to watch the works of 4/5 years is very entertaining! Shisha was also entertained stating "I have never experienced something like this before (recalling that she had all girls)!"
You want us to do what coach???
Mr. Legs can run...
And he is serious about it!
Proof...Mr. U of M holds a little spartan fan! Mr. U of M really is a marshmellow when it comes to his Grandchildren!
Ethan and his close friend Justen (blue pants)!
In all seriousness (as I do like to give Grant and hard time), this picture is capturing Grant at his best moments...in the outdoors, with his son and a football in hand! Now time to make fun...I enjoyed watching Grant attempt to coach 4/5 year olds as coming from coaching high school football this was not an easy task for him. Although I could see the frustration, he held it together very well!
Ethan's face is priceless in this picture and he attempts to chase down the flag!
Lets see if the look of intimidation works!
The hand off!
I guess a laundry basket looks really comfy after his first football game and a bath!
Going to pick apples with friend Justen!
I love this apple!
Garrett joins right in with all of our adventures!
Is there any such thing as a nice picture with your boys?
Let's give Jakob an even harder time when pulling us!
Cutie pie!
Our Cute Little Pumpkin!
MSU vs. CMU game day...making Grant drink from the Chip mug!
At least one child listens to the safety google directions.
Againg, breaking the rules.
Ethan won't wear them, but he will put them on his brother!
Lets play school!
Chug the Jug!
Ethan truly loves his brother!
Daddy's escape from the 4 year old!
Grant was up in the tree for a good 30 minutes doing absolutely nothing. He was facing the neighbors house/windows and I had told him that the police were called by the neighbors because you look like a peeping-tom!
Garrett loves his hammer and likes to hide/crawl through our stools!
Pumpkin hat fun! Thank you for my hat Shisha!
Slimmy little pumpkin!
October 4th = 7mths old = a crazy day of new adventures. All within 3 hours Garrett, who was crawling prior to 7 mths, decided to move a little faster today and adventure into everything including the dog dishes and the dirt shoes in the mudroom. Secondly he pulled himself up in his crib to appear over the railing and lastly was kneeling at his gated room and shaking the gate to get out! This day was a non-stop day in the books of Momma!
